The resistance against cracking and the fact that stable fruit can be taken regularly every year, and having no pollination and fertilization problems are the most important features of this variety.
1.2. 0-900 Ziraat (Nordwonder): This cherry variety covers 13% of the cherry production of Agropergamos, so that it is the second most produced cherry variety after the Royal King variety. It covers a production area of 62,480 m2 and has 4,186 trees. The period of harvest is June 1-10. Trees of this variety, which have become very popular and local variety in Turkey, are highly efficient with no fruit less cracking. Moreover, it is very desirable to export because it is very durable to transportation.
1.3. Kordia: It has 7% of the cherry production. It covers a production area of 31,310 m2 and has 2,098 trees. The period of harvest is June 10-15. It is a cherry variety, originated the Czech Republic, which is used commonly in Eastern and Western Europe. It is larger, harder and more resistant to cracking than Bing, which is the most significant export cherry of America. Due to late blossoming, it can be used as a pollinator for 0-900 Ziraat as well.
1.4. Early Lorry: It represents 1% of the production. It covers a production area of 4,700 m2 and has 315 trees. The period of harvest is June 1-10. Its fruits are medium-sized or slightly larger and dark red. It gives fruit very early.
1.5. Summit: It has a cherry production of 1%. It covers an area of 4,610 m2 and has 309 trees. The period of harvest is June 1-15. Summit cherry trees are produced by grafting on cherry rootstocks used in grafted cherry trees. Summit cherry has large heart-shape fruits, which are delicious.
1.6. Strong: It covers a small percentage of production, such as 0.2%. The period of harvest is June 1-15. It covers a production area of 780 m2 and has 52 trees.
Harvest year is the 4th year for all cherry species, but the year with the highest yield is the 9th year, except for the Royal King species. The highest-yield year of Royal King is the 8th year. The highest production per year for Royal King Species is 35 kg, while for other cherry varieties this figure is 30 kg.
